Starting to get nervous about the Notre Dame game...
Sep 24, 2015, 2:46 PM

Pope Francis is visiting the United States for the first time -- and less than two weeks before the game. What if he gives the ND team some speshel blessing or pours the wholly water on the players?
HOW WE GONNA OVERCOME THAT??

If it were one of the popes that wasn't a socialst douchenozzle, I may be worried. He'll probably give them some dirty illness he brought over from Cuba.

You're right, why talk about reality?

Even if the pope was a socialist, what does that have to do with your three anecdotes? Are you familiar with basic statistics?

My point is that the most evil people to walk the Earth are socialists, and capitalism caused the greatest economic boom in world history. More people had their quality of life improved by capitalism than socialism.

I think you need to stop listening to the Rush Limbaugh's and Glenn Beck's of the world. Where do you even get an idea like this? "My point is that the most evil people to walk the Earth are socialists" Socialism isn't "evil", it's an economic concept.
"More people had their quality of life improved by capitalism than socialism. "
You may be right, nobody is threatening to convert America to socialism, there are however candidates that want to introduce more social programs, that does not mean they are a socialist and hate capitalism.

If our country were run by a capitalist. Seems the more socialist we get, the more poor people there are. It's weird.

I think you need to look up the term socialist, I doesn't mean what you think it does if you think the country is currently run by a socialist or that america is socialist.

meaning the government is in control of more of the economy. We did a lot better when the economy was in the hands of citizens. Bureaucrats aren't doing so hot. Just look at USPS versus UPS/Fedex.

Currently less than 1/10th of 1% of of our population controls more money than 90% of our population. That is a direct result of unrestrained capitalism for the wealthiest class and corruption of our political system through our broken campaign financing laws.
More simply put, you don't have a freaking clue of what your talking about.
Now I know why I have only a 90% rating, I just can't seem to avoid responding to stupid posts. Smart people just let them go. I guess I'm not very smart...just ask my wife.

Why is it bad that rich people are rich?
Sep 24, 2015, 6:03 PM
|

Ever had a poor person give you a job? Could those people have ever achieved what they did under socialism? Could Bill Gates and Mitt Romney donate millions upon millions to charity in mother Russia? Stop feeding everyone liberal talking points about how evil rich people are. They're the job creators and philanthropists. Poor people who don't work and still get fed but demand more are the greedy ones, not rich people who create jobs and pay millions who just want to keep half their money.

I'm not really the rally-going type anymore. I'll certainly vote for him, however far he makes it, though.

It would be easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for socialism to work. If it did, people in Cuba wouldn't be building boats out of garbage to try to come here. Again, you didn't answer my questions. Ever get a job from a poor person? Could anyone achieve that kind of wealth in the USSR? Is there a time in world history where socialism ever actually worked?

Rich people are rich because either they or somebody in their family attended to one of God's laws. It's called economics.
Economics works just like gravity. It respects no person. If one sits on a limb and saws between his butt and the tree truck his ### will hit the ground.
How can you expect to overcome the laws God put in place at the founding of the universe? Pigs don't fly.

Very cool Tigress2. I always felt like God secretly likes the Tigers best, only He can't say so 'cause of all the Catholics.
