Spurrier takes another jab at Dabo

"Spurrier jabbed familiar target Dabo Swinney on Wednesday, taking aim at Clemson's media policy, according to The State. The Tigers' first few practice sessions will be open to media but not the fans; the Gamecocks' practices will be closed to both. Spurrier suggested the NCAA -- if not the judicial system -- look into Swinney's policy.
"The media? You mean (Dabo Swinney) can open to the media and not the fans? I didn't know that was permissible," Spurrier said. "You better check the legal ramifications of that. There may be some lawsuits."
Spurrier, who is 5-2 against Swinney, suggested the Gamecocks' media contingent spy on the Tigers.
"You guys go up there and bring us a report back, and we'll listen to you about three months from now, OK?" Spurrier said."
He must REALLY be getting worried.

but if his policy is we don't talk about Clemson or worry about Clemson until the last week of November, then shouldn't that be the answer?
I mean, either you're going to talk about Clemson or you're not. He spends far more time talking about and worrying about Clemson than not.

you'll only have to hear him talk about Clemson for four more months. After another one-sided loss to Clemson, he will clam-up for awhile as he contemplates retirement again.

I think too much is put into what spurlid says. He's just an old guy who likes to hear himself talk and thinks he's funny and likes to get a response out of people and most of it is him entertaining himself. If he didn't acknowledge Clemson whatsoever people would say he's scared and Dabo is in his head and he doesn't want to admit it, and when he makes comments it's the exact same response. But none the less, he's still an arrogant person who thinks he's smarter than everybody else and thinks very highly of himself. When he retires, he won't think twice about USUC or Clemson or this rivalry. All he'll be thinking about is how awesome he is and brag about his accomplishments and where he's gonna play golf next and how much beer is left in the fridge.
