Spurrier should suspend Clowney

Everybody wins:
1) Spurrier saves face and looks like he requires a sliver of discipline
2) Clowney not exposed to high expectations or catastrophic injury
3) built in excuse for inevitable loss to Wisconsin
4). Plenty for ES(EC)PN commentators to talk about
5). Clowney can get a jump on negotiating that big money contract
Come to think of it, maybe SOS told Clown to go out and speed!

If this was one of ours (Tajh or Sammy), none of us would want a suspension. You can hate Carolina (I do), but to hate a player? Come on! Let Clowney play.

It was nothing for his first violation. But If one of ours were caught twice in a month for driving that fast on public hwys. He should be no doubt suspended the next full game. And it shouldn't matter what their name was, our how valuable they were to winning a game. In 58 years of having a license to drive, I've never had a ticket for 84 mph in any speed zone. And I've lost my license twice from losing points for speeding. My worse ticket was for 77 in a 65 mph zone. I've had more than a few for 70 in a 55. Most of the time we know the speed limit where we are driving through. Most of us risk going just a little faster, but 25 mph faster than the posted limit goes past the risk level to just plain dangerous. 75 mph in these aluminum tin cans we ride in these days, a crash usually ends in death. And its usually to someone that was driving the posted speed limit in control of their Vehicle. Highways and Die ways is what our crowed roads have become. Getting some where a minute early these days, in the tin cans we ride in isn't worth. I've long ago decided that a minute isn't worth the death risk to our selves, or to someone else by driving way to fast. JMO!!!
