Spurrier said best time to play UGA is early in year because

most of the team is suspended in early September due to many of them being arrested over the summer. Maybe the same thing holds true for post season. Looks like a lot of them are getting arrested in December. Will Kirby give them a pass for the Playoffs?

Yes.
“Best is the standard” is a Clemson standard.
What you say is important, what you do is more important. UGA fails in both respects.

He won't be kicked out until next semester. Of course he will play.
Dawgs better worry about the drug test before the semi-final. Show's the difference between Dabo and 99% of the other coaches. Our guys got sent home and we still wore Okie out.

I would have loved playing Georgia yesterday, but only if Spurrier were their Head Coach. Did you see him last night at the Heisman? He looked like he could hardly locate the stage.Could only imagine the hard time he would have finding his own sideline.

Unless he wants to start his tenur off as a Jimbo Fisher type who looks the other way.I haven't kept up with the story, but being arrested with illegal drugs is not something that can be overlooked by the UGA administration....I would think.

The SEC is adamant about full game suspensions only being enforced during cupcake week.

During big games, like the Big 12, players can only be considered non starters and be able to start playing after the second snap.

No, because they will "investigate" after the bowl game and suspend them for the spring.

Is it good or bad for us either way?

I almost think that it would be good for us if they were allowed to play. Due to body cam footage it does not seem in doubt that they are guilty at least to some extent. When we compare the 2 programs to recruits that we would compete for, I think that the differences in character would be a selling point for our program. Beyond that, I like a potential matchup with Georgia better than I do Oklahoma in the first place.

I don't think that's a fair comparison to Kirby's time in Athens to date. Richt ran an undisciplined program but that's not true under CKS. We had two young men make some bad decisions last week and that may qualify as "a lot" in your book but in reality the arrests have been few and far between since KS arrived. As far as a pass is concerned according to the school policy it's very doubtful either of these players play the next game. It's really not CKS's call.

He can easily suspend the guys if he so desires.
