Spread in UF v SCar game

Anyone else surprised that Florida is only favored by 7.5? I know they looked pedestrian against Vandy, but the Commodores have a pretty good defense. And let's face it, SCar's defense makes opposing QB's look like Heisman contenders. I'm not a big gambler by any stretch, but will be keeping an eye on that.

Florida looks very beatable, especially with their backup QB.
Also, the gamecocks are playing with house money. They really have nothing to lose and can give teams their best shot without any real fear as they are expected to fall apart under the interim coach.

they haven't laid down and died. They have shown some life offensively enough to compete with aTm, Tennessee, and the like. Since this Fla is at home, I think the odds makers are willing to bet that SCar will not be a punching bag.
They are not a good team, but they have nothing to lose and will presumably play loose offensively and take shots because... why not?
This game will be a 38-28 type of finish.

even be mentioned in the top-30 (including the "others receiving votes"). uf has struggled offensively since their starting qb got suspended, but i don't think usuc can move the ball on the florida defense,either. usuc MIGHT win 1 more game (vs. the citadel) . they have skai moore on d, and no one else. heck they let lambert (uga qb, uva cast-off)set an ncaa record ! florida's qb is no worse than he is, no better,either,but he just might do the same. florida wins big !

Florida D is better than any D they've played this year.
Vandy had one play where they got the long TD run and that was it.
SCAR will have tough sledding against Florida D.
Now, Florida O is a mess, but I think SCAR D will give up some points.
Florida by 14.

I think Florida wins but I would not be surprised if the game is very close. I think Florida's No. 10 ranking is grossly over-inflated. Their best win was against another grossly over-inflated Ole Miss team.

I think the running back Taylor for Florida will be the difference in the game I think Florida wins by 14! Harris will not do much but he won't need to!

I wouldn't mind seeing SCar take down Florida, knock the SEC-East down another peg...oh, who am I kidding, I'd never root for SCar to beat a ranked Florida team. Especially in a game that will give them a losing record on the season.
However the spread doesn't surprise me. Florida barely held on against an awful Vandy team, and SCar has kept their last 2 games a lot closer than they were supposed to. I could see a potential upset.

I don't know why people think Vegas knows anything .,
They don't care who wins its all about who covers ,.
Think of this ,. if the line was Florida -17 they wouldn't get much Fla. bets
but a lot of SC bets ,., They set the line to try to get even money on a game .,
That's why the line moves before a game ,. to tempt more money .,
and that is why I don't bet ,.

... watch for ACC championship to have two higher ranked teams than SEC championship. Will be fun watching ESPN talking heads explain that one.
