Special Weekend

I've been to five Tiger baseball games over the last 3 days since I flew in for the weekend. My first baseball games since I graduated in 1985. My son is doing a week-long academic camp at Clemson, so the timing was good for a visit. But the real reason I'm here is that my dad, Class of '59, turns 80 today. He still attends every home baseball game, even if he has to go alone. Last night at midnight, around the 7th inning, I looked at my watch and realized it was his birthday. I can't imagine a better day then spending it with my wonderful dad doing what he loves, watching Tiger Baseball...at maybe the best game he or I will likely ever see. Awesome night. God is good!

lucky enough to be at the game until the final out will never forget. One of those rare moments that special campus brings us.

Looking around at 1am on a Sunday night with all those folks celebrating was crazy. I'm paying for it today, but it was worth it.

Hopefully it'll quit raining here soon so we can do it again (just maybe not so late).
