a lot. The years Kris Benson and others were here didn't match that. Hope this continues for the remainder of the year. Would love to score more runs.

Unfortunately the pitching will come back down to Earth at some point.

Hopefully they will handle the adversity well and still be a strong staff and maybe not all come down at the same time.

On the other hand, the big hope is that prior to the pitching coming down to Earth the offense will find a pulse and be able to counteract the difference.

There is a lot to be excited about with the pitching but there is a reason that it hasn't been done in over 50 years.

It's because it's a level that can't be maintained for long periods of time.

I remain legitimately concerned about team hitting or the lack thereof. I realize pitching is generally ahead of the hitting at this point in a season but if this team is struggling to hit and score runs against teams like Liberty, Furman, and Stony Brook we are going to be in for a world of hurt playing teams like Louisville, Miami, FSU, NC State, Duke, and Georgia Tech. The biggest concern is this has been an ongoing issue throughout much of Coach Lee's tenure at Clemson.
