I think they're going to have to.

Legally there were some massive Title IX addendums added to Meyer's last contract, which were put in place by an OSU administration that was put in place in no small part because of past scandals.

If they don't enforce those statutes now they're wide open for a Title IX infraction...and especially since OSU is already reeling from that wrestling-team scandal where their team doctor went all Jerry Sandusky on their wrestling-team members, it's hard to imagine they can just gloss this over and push it under the rug. There is far too much stuff under that rug already, and the new stuff just will not fit under there.

This was a monumental case of Bad Timing as far as Urban is concerned.

Under the new clauses in his contract there will be no buyout, just termination. He as they say has Done shot himself in the foot. He made plenty, he will not coach in College ever again though and it will take a couple years off cool down for the NFL to come calling. He does have some baggage at all the programs he has coached at UF being the worst.

wants to coach again, there will certainly be teams out there willing to take a chance. That is unless NCAA rules would prohibit a coach with Title IV violations from coaching at another school. Louisville re-hiring Petrino as one big example. An SEC school would probably go after him. Just win baby, that's all we care about!
