send some Cole's way. The past week he has lost nearly all use of his back legs. The dude is at a vet hospital right now, waiting for an MRI this afternoon to diagnose him. It's something in his nervous system somewhere from middle of the back down in his spine they think. Right now the leading theory is degenerative disc disease and he has a slipped disc. Could also be Fibrocartilaginous Embolism (FCE), some form of cancer, or another neural thing they've mentioned.
Cole turns 11 in July, I am not ready for this.

He got worse last night and this morning.
Carried him this morning to go to the bathroom and then put him in the car to go to our vet, I think he just couldn't hold his legs up and sat down like this.
Trying to remain positive through all of this right now, and the neurology specialist said that if it is degenrative disc disease it's a 80-90% full recovery. The problem is Cole never displays any sign of pain, so we have no idea if he's in pain right now  ">.
