So what officially was the issue with Tee Higgins?

Jan 1, 2020, 10:47 PM

Was it concussion protocol, was he sick, was it some undisclosed previous issue?

Fairly sure we have not heard yet....

Wonder when we will hear from Coach Dabo next. Hoping it will be tomorrow.

Someone said it was a neck issue!

Jan 1, 2020, 10:56 PM

I think he got cracked on his head but also got like the whiplash where he tried to protect his head from slamming the ground.

And YES, you freaking whiners, where was the hands in face personal foul for ripping his helmet off?? Got gripes? So do I!!!

Well from I could tell near the top of his jump he took a pretty wicked elbow to the helmet, so other than not sure, it seemed like a concussion to me, but I don't want to question Clemson's medical staff, without hearing from Tee first

Why don't our players have their equipment right?

Jan 2, 2020, 9:06 AM

I properly fastened helmet should not have come off that easliy

It was pretty obvious he took a big knock to the noggin.

From the opposing guys helmet, as well as his own head hitting the ground from the force of the guy hitting him in his bare head. This could also have produced short term neck issues. Speaking as an Engineer who spent 40 years avoiding (or sometimes NOT) low hanging pipes in a Chemical plant, you usually get over those collisions easily in two weeks time. I hope, and believe, that Tee will be good to go against the Tigahs.

Neck, I'm pretty sure

Not a concussion; no way he'd have come back into the game. His head never hit anything if you watch the slow mo replay.

Ross is the one with the more concerning issue. His hip has bothered him all season and might require surgery or therapy after the championship. He hasn't been 100% and won't be on Monday.
