Does anyone know if Virginia has sold their allotment?

Dec 5, 2019, 9:13 AM

I've searched online/social media a little but couldn't find anything. Anyone know?
Thanks.

They rarely sell out their own home games...

so my guess would be no.

They know it's going to be a beatdown so why pay to watch it.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Someone posted on Monday that UVA had opened sales to the

They still had club level available yesterday afternoon. I anticipate UVA only having 5-6,000 fans including what they purchased on the secondary markets. I think the crowd in general will be the smallest since Orlando around 60,000. From what I've heard the ACC has not even opened the endzone upper deck tickets for sale due to the number of sideline seats available. I would not be surprised if later today or tomorrow the ACC offers a discount like buy 3 get 1 free. I'll be there, however I think a lot of Tiger fans are saving for the semifinal and Championship game. The last 3-4 years have broke most of us!!! Go Tigers!!!

With the cost of tickets - the ACC Champ game is cheaper

than most Tiger home games.

I'm surprised so many people pass on the opportunity to see The Tigers play an extra time. If someone lives within 2 hours of Charlotte...drive in, tailgate, watch the game, drive home. That's what I do...

I agree. I live in VA and this is the only game we could afford to attend. The drive is shorter and the tickets were much less expensive. On the other hand Charlotte is not Clemson and the atmosphere is just not the same. I believe the game being at night hurts some too. Should be a 3:30 start time on ABC. Move the SEC game to 7:30 since it's inside.

I am one of the lucky ones that actually live close to Charlotte and it will be a 1 day trip, so this game doesn't hurt as much an even a home game in the Valley! We have reservations in Arizona for the Semi's though and that will cause us to say OUCH!

I wouldn’t be to quick to make reservations for Phoenix yet. My wife and I and 8 of her friends went to the game and wished we had waited on the purchase of our tickets. We did our airfare thru Las Vegas. 268.00 RT vs 1200.00 RT. Then rented a van to the game. Hotels in Vegas were 39.00 vs 300.00 in Phoenix. Now 4 years later and all of us broke. I’m sure tickets will be rather cheap. I know our group saved 15k the first time doing it this way.
