On local tv tonight it was announced coots play nc state in Charlotte to kick off their 2017 season. Tanner says they make MORE money playing in Charlotte versus playing in the cockroach. I'll hang up and listen to your explaination

Maybe Charlotte pays teams along with gate fees. Just guessing.

So they make more money by receiving a PORTION of the gate fees in Charlotte than they do by receiving ALL the gate fees in Columbia? Sorry I don't get it.

there was much moaning, groaning, and gnashing of beaks up to the day of this year's game vs unc in Charlotte because the ticket prices were exorbitant and kept fans from both camps away...............will the 20117 tix be more affordable for the self-proclaimed "best fans in the world"???

I can help . Take into account that the Coot Admin's expenditures for home game include a precautionary vagrant relocation program , temporary housing for those vagrants at an undisclosed Rosewood shelter , the addition of mass quantities of doo-doo to the stadiums ice-makers , grounds crews and the clearing of the seemingly infinite amount of busted pallets and discarded tires , paint and supplies to cover the week's freshest graffitti in the warehouse trainyard districts , and the setting up of many tents around the stadium where folks can get tetanus and/or penicillin shots before and after the " football " team plays . As you can see , there are a lot of hidden expenses that Clemson just doesn't have to contend with .

That is just the pre-game expenses ...

You can only imagine what the post game cost is of cleaning up after 80,000 trailer-coots who just watched their "football" team get beaten by the Kentucky Wildcats ....at football . There is wrecker fees , debris collection (busted storefront windows -piles of burning Gamecock colored paraphernalia, etc.) , strengthened police presences (in full riot gear ) , a pair of armored prison buses to escort the visiting team to the airport (at SCAR expense ) and of course the disaster aftermath response teams that show up on Sundays ready to tackle the clean-up that is strewn city wide by the fleeing bands of USuC gradua...uh , I mean the unruly perpetrators.
It's a whole big deal over in the Cap city.

$20 on pump 6 and 5 mega millions quick picks. No megapyler.
That's $25 to the coot behind the counter talking about scar ####### basketball winning it all.

this is all you need to know about coot math. Backward most illogical ##### that seemingly seems rational to them.

I could see where this might be true.

They probably get a big check for giving up a home game. I know I would expect to get paid if I'm not going to have home field advantage, and make my season ticket holders see one less game at home. Also, although this is probably a much smaller impact, I bet they get more concession sales at an NFL stadium since you can drink beer. And maybe tickets are pricier? Not sure.
