No surprise to me at all...
I've totally lost confidence in them...as being sane.
I had a flash of being mad...BUT,
the NCAA has come across with so many "out right ignorant" rulings in recent years, lacking total common sense, that I consider them worthless.
Now, should I tell you how I really feel?

I think we should all applaud the NCAA for doing this. We are now much safer as a nation having put this out of control player in his place. The leaders of the free world should hail this as a monumental achievement to further protect the homeland.

student athletes and the integrity of the game.
The NCAA became a joke years ago. It is nothing but a big bloated corrupt greedy power hungry organization. We see this in all of these so called "amateur athletic" organizations, like the IIOC.
These organization are like the government. They start out with good intentions, then grow into monsters that lose all perspective because they become obsessed with their own self-preservation and power.
The sad thing is, unlike the government, these organizations only maintain power because their members allow it. The major conferences should have told the NCAA to stick it a long time ago and formed a new organization where the college presidents and athletic directors, as a group, form an oversight committee for the new organization.
