2015 Stats Comparison – P5 Games Only – Louisville - Notre Dame - Georgia Tech - Boston College – Miami
Total Points For/Vs 179 – 80 (+99) After Louisville & ND, it was 44-39 (+5). Whew!
Total Yardage 2333 – 1331 (+1002) Only Notre Dame had more yardage - 437-296 (141)
Plays 374 – 309 (+65) Average is 74.8. Only Notre Dame (4) had more plays.
Passing Yardage 1203 – 913 (+290) Louisville (54) & Notre Dame (224) had more passing yardage.
Rushing Yardage 1130 – 418 (+712) Only BC (47) had more rushing yardage. Opponents RY = 19-116-71-159-53. Outstanding.
Rushing Attempts 222 – 170 (+52) GT (1) & BC (2) ran more than we did. Only BC had a better YPRA (4.2 to 3.1)
Pass Attempts 152 – 139 (+13) Louisville (5) Notre Dame (13) & Miami (7) passed more than we did.
1st TD Possession (avg) Clemson/Opponent 2 – 5.4 Scored on 1st drive 3x. Notre Dame went 11 possessions before they got a TD.

FG Attempts/Made by Clemson 9 – 8 = 88.9 % Excellent. No really long ones but we’ve been consistent.

3rd Downs/Conversions by Opponent 71-14 (19.7 %) Outstanding. Notre Dame had the best luck but was only 12-4.
Penalty yards vs Clemson 216 – Average = 43 yards. Nobody mentions this. Might be the best ever.
Red-Zone chances/TDs by Clemson 17 – 11 (64.7 %) Very good. Has been a big problem in past years.
4th Qtr Possession Time by Clemson – 8:28-8:57-11:24-8:30-9:14 Not getting tired. More than opponent every game.
