A girl from Ohio assumed that I did not know how to operate a dishwasher, since I was from South Carolina. When I explained to her that my family has had a dishwasher since 1968, she was shocked and exclaimed, "No, you haven't!"
True story.

There may be some on here who might be employed in Law Enforcement careers (not to mention that bob is a well known snitch); therefore, I would not be bragging about you’re wife’s errrrr, ummmm, ‘habit’, if you know what I mean?
ESPECIALLY since she loves you as much as she does - she sounds like someone you definitely wouldn’t want to lose.

I've lived in Greenville and Travelers Rest and I can say definitively that they make Columbus, Oh feel downright cosmopolitan. Never in Ohio have I gone to a major gas station only to have it locked with a note on the door saying "Had to go fetch the kidz-reckon I'll be be back soon."

They do have 2 million people in that metro area, so I imagine they would have more than Travelers Rest. I would take Greenville as it is today though for sophistication and quality over Columbus.

Up there when you show your disappointment of their lack of sweet tea, they tell you to add sugar. They have trouble grasping the concept that sugar will dissolve when the tea is hot but just sinks to the bottom when it is cold. You can't sell me on their intelligence and sophistication.
