If the Sox come back and win, Boone is going to look like a dumb ash for taking starters out. Did he not notice that something strange was going on when 23 runs had been scored by the end of the 5th inning?

I can see taking folks out in the late innings with a big lead, but not in the middle innings. The first inning should have been all the proof Boone needed that this was going to be a slug fest.

Same can be said of Cora. Deverd would have been a better choice in that last at bat. I’m surprised he didn’t pinch hit a right handed batter in that position. Nunez is available I gurss

say is "baseball is boring because there's not enough scoring."

OTOH, in a typical cricket game they score like 200 runs. And it takes two or three days to play.

out what the hail was going on, since I didn't initially know they were playing in Ye Olde England. Knew for sure it wasn't Fenway or Yankee Stadium!
