This kid actually looks pretty solid

IMHO, he seems more offer-worthy than Greenlee.

Wonder why Greenlee started over both him and his brother?

Injury.

Both Davis brothers injured their hip and needed surgery a year or two ago.

Are they joined at the hip?***

I wouldn't say either has great speed as of right now but they read their keys well, have a nose for the ball, and when they hit their target that target goes down. Watching this film reminds me a lot of Spencer Shuey and that ain't a bad thing.

I am reminded a little of Boulware, though I think Boulware seems better on film.

I think Boulware has more clsoing speed

Davis's isn't bad by any means but Boulware really popped to me when he made a beeline for the ball

Agreed! I like the nasty in Boulware. He seems to have that #### Butkus kind of mentality, IMO.

Boulware had one of the best HS highlight tapes I've seen***

Solid, but

He needs a little more speed. Think about what you see when Boulware, Korie Rogers, O'Daniel, and Joseph are making plays. They look a lot faster, but like was said before, when he hits someone they go down. Not everyone can be as fast as some of those guys we are recruiting. I think some of the talent we are getting in has changed our standards a bit. I wouldn't want to get hit by either of the Davis brothers.

Yeah the speed is a notch below the others

But you'd have to think, with a college S & C coach doing speed and agility drills with you at a level you've never done, you're probably gonna get a good bit faster. If those boys put on some speed they might be pretty good (at the very least solid special team contributors).
