Softball to Clemson

Just got off the phone with Joe Galbraith, and women's softball is coming to Clemson. There will be an official announcement from the school shortly. Hope is that it can begin by 2020, but that is nebulous at this point. No idea on where they will build a stadium. Women's diving is being cut to add softball.

Carly Hoover, who pitched at Daniel and daughter of former volleyball coach here, went to LSU instead and became one of the top pitchers in the country

When you factor in the construction of a facility, it will be much more expensive to field a softball team.

Is done like a 3/4 replica of the baseball stadium. Complete with terrace, cajun cafe, and all the things that make Tiger Field such a great place.
