So...does Lyn-J stick around with ETN coming back?

Jan 17, 2020, 3:57 PM

I hope he does but next year was assumed to be “his time”.

IF Bowman is anything like as good as advertised, Lyn-J

has a personal decision to make as well. At best, all I see is him being the #2 of a two man tandem with Bowman after next year. At worst, he gets overtaken by Mellusi or Mikey Dukes. If he wants to fight for more playing time, the way to get it is to improve himself into the best blocker in the running back room.

I absolutely thing he does. He'll be the #2 back with a significant role in the offense. It's the other two (Melusi and Dukes) that might start looking at the portal.

U guys keep forgetting about Kobe Pryor. They are very high on him and he is a bruiser RB

Personally I think he’s more of a slot guy - just not heavy enough to run through people. They already have Amari and Spector there but if he can catch that’s where he should be.

Doubt it. He’s stuck in between 2 elite RB’s in Etienne and Bowman. Fully expect him to transfer.

I fully agree with your assessment of Dixon's situation, but sitting out a year to transfer is not an attractive option.

What's really bad for him is he won't get the chance to evaluate Bowman during spring practice.

In my opinion, it's 50-50 he transfers. This has to hit him like a ton of bricks.

Because transferring certainly helped Feaster.

Guess I'd rather put hope in LJD knows he will have every opportunity to get his carries and show out by staying and helping Clemson to another CFP.

When was it announced that next year was to be his time?

Jan 17, 2020, 7:18 PM

He got a lot of carries and will again next year (and the next).

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I would say yes. I would think Lyn J is going to be a big

part of the rotation. Let's see if these younguns are ready first.
