Soccer team dominated the 1st half despite being down 1-0

We completely controlled the ball and had several chances right in the box. Stanford just kept getting corners off of very short counter attacks. They had 5 corners in the first 35 minutes despite really not doing anything significant. Such is the nature of soccer and hockey. There is a big luck factor with how the ball bounces or comes off the foot. If we keep up this level of play we will equalize.

That was the best half we have had this tournament. Go Tigers.

I read that Stanford had only allowed 13 goals this year . In like 19 matches . That is phenomenal , no ?
Hope our NCAA leading goal scoring gets it going this half .
