fans. I'll give them that.
BUT, no way they can pull off a total-package game-day experience like Clemson does for a football game. The fall weekends of my childhood were either spent at Clemson watching a football game in Death Valley or in Jacksonboro, sitting in the woods listening to dogs run deer (every away game and bye week). But as you get older you come to understand, it wasn't winning the football game itself or killing a deer that was important. It was getting together with people and socializing and having fun. It was the whole experience AROUND killing a deer or winning a football game that made it so fun. If I didn't kill a deer or if Clemson lost, still was fun.
