Soccer Team Improves on #2 Recruiting Class

John Murphy from Scotch Plains, NJ will be attending Clemson and play soccer for the Tigers. He played for the National U17 Team and the Red Raiders in New York. John bolsters the #2 rated signing class that Coach Noonan has assembled for next year. It's a good day to be a Tiger!

Noonan is doing a fantastic job with the program

It'll be interesting to see how they do replacing what they lost last year but Noonan is very much a reload and not rebuild coach. They'll need some creativity with the loss of Campos but don't expect this team to be any less than top 15 this year.

Men's Soccer is back to being our 2nd best NC Contender

After football, Men's Soccer is the next most likely sport for us to add a National Championship. Men's Golf is 3rd. Our women's soccer program isn't far from being a contender, but they aren't there yet. Same with women's golf and baseball. Our Tennis and Track programs have a few elements, but are not close to being contenders at the moment. Men's Basketball is probably where Tennis and Track are if not a little closer to women's soccer, women's golf, and baseball. Most of our other sports have a long way to go to think about championships.
