Yes the spot was clearly behind the first spot. And clearly behind the line to gain. The chains where on the yard maker but yet the ball didn't cross the yard marker.

The chain was wrapped. If they rotated the pole no first down. Look closely. Just 1/4 turn and another link would have been added.
