I like the crystal football on the old trophy but I think the new trophy is fantastic looking.

I hope that you're really wanting honesty, and if you do, I think it looks like pure sh!t. It looks like the budget and control department cut the funds for buying of a trophy less than half. It looks like something you would give to a dirt track car racer for winning third place.

also. WHY did we need a new trophy? The old trophy was not specifically tied to the BCS... it's the same trophy we have from 1981... it wasn't broken. it didn't need to be fixed!!

The old trophy was a lot better in my opinion. Not only was it an amazing crystal football, but the large base really have it an air of importance. This new trophy looks like the CFB version of the NFL Lombardi

It looks like a beer tap as one of the news feeds put it. I am not impressed and I"m hoping they come up with a new one soon. Of course I'm also hoping they come up with a new committee as I'm not impressed with them either, since they don't seem to know much about wins vs losses playing into rankings. So I wonder which will change first.Not optimistic on either.
