So what's the best road trip next year?

Jan 11, 2013, 5:37 PM

UVA, UMD, SU, NCSU, coots

The home schedule is pretty good but I'm not seeing any "have to be there" road games next year,

i'm looking forward to Syracuse and if we are lucky maybe we can see CJ and the Bills on Sunday at home too! Go Tigers and Former Tigers!

It's the reason Tahj is sticking around for another year.

Agreed

I've done UVA (twice) and UMD (once)... definitely preferred Charlottesville. I liked the area a lot more and had a better experience at the game (both the atmosphere and the opposing fans). Never a fan of Carolina (though 63-17 was fun to be there for).

Can't speak to SU or NCSU (haven't done those yet). Wherever you go, wear lots and lots of orange!

Wow, great point about the Cuse game...

If Buffalo is home that same weekend, that would be awesome.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the Cuse game the most-- pretty easy trip from NYC.

Cuse is the only one interesting just cause I've never been there but doubt I'd make that trip. (be my luck it'd be in November and a blizzard) UMD and UVA are ok but nothing special. State fans are right up there with UGA and coots for being rude and obnoxious. I don't care to ever set foot in Willy Lice again.

Just my $0.02

Syracuse and UVA are my two picks. I looked at flying in to Niagra Falls for some site seeing, then driving 3 hours to Syracuse. If the Bills are playing at home that Sunday, then Buffalo is very close to Niagra Falls. For any of you that live where Spirit Airlines flys, the flight to NF is only about $170 RT from Myrtle Beach.

I know a lot of guys on this board are happy we stayed in the ACC because they love these great road trips...

I enjoyed Maryland. We stayed near DC and did some touring.***
