So what has happened to GT baseball

they used to always be good. what has caused their drop. about the only college team I follow is CU. Just curious

They have a ton of talented freshman on there team. They are gonna be pretty good in the future.

When they played us they had 3 true freshman starting pitchers

You could ask the same questions about their football and basketball teams as well . They have been national caliber in all 3 at some point over the last 3 decades , but they're pretty bad now at everything .

well football has been exposed. I think PJ is a liability w that offense. hoops hasnt had a decent coach fora while. Their hoops at one point was very good

They played in a final in basketball some 15/20 years ago as I recall , shared the NC in football with Colorado in like 1991 or so ...but those days have been replaced by extreme mediocrity .
Can't say I dislile the trend ??

Paul Johnson is what happened to their football team. They will never be a team that stays in the rankings with him as coach. Sure they will have a decent year sometimes, but never with any consistency. That offense kills any chance of that happening and kills their recruiting.

They have a good team about every 4 years
Because of having seniors that have played 3+ years.
They don't have many Jrs leaving early because of talent.
But about every 4 years they have an experienced decent team.
