So we lose NC State and Louisville at home and get

Pitt and Miami at home. NC State was easier than Pitt or Miami, but I think Louisville would have been a little tougher than Pitt or Miami.
Then Virginia Tech on the road instead of Akron and The Citadel at home.
They did all this to just play one less game? To Hell with the teams that were dropped. To Hell with fans that had planned to be at the dropped conference games, if possible, to Hell with the logistics that were already in place. To Hell with the fact that the 14 real ACC teams have been told for years that playing a non-divisional schedule, that allows shorter rotations was all but impossible.
This is Notre Dame for crying out loud! To Hell with the rest of the world and all who participate in ACC football. To Hell with league membership. To Hell with bylaws. To Hell with the fact that Notre Dame has always said they didn't want to compete for the ACC title. Don't you ignorant people understand, this is Notre Dame! This is what happens when you let squatter trash freeload in your house. Youcan't get rid of them and they begin to crate chaos.
Now watch Notre Dame ##### and moan about having to play a 10 game ACC slate. They will carry on like they are doing the ACC the biggest favor, that they would never want to ever play another schedule like that, and on and on and on. If they do recognize that they were bailed out, they will still belittle the entire scenario and act like they had to hold their nose the whole time.
But what about their precious independence?????? What about it????? And what about the money? They are bringing no additional money for this. Maybe $1 million per team, but not sure because we probably have to give them a bigger share now. I wouldn't be surprised if the lower 14 have to take a pay cut. But hey, this is Notre Dame. Notre Dame, with the tacky gold lame helmets that nobody has the guts to tell them that they are gaudy as Hell. Nobody wants to say the emperor looks like bling tacky.

The ACC Presidents are jokes, incuding ours!
John Swofford is a joke!
The ACC athletic directors are jokes, including ours!
Sold out is the phrase that comes to mind, but that is not accurate. We didn't actually get very much money for it. So what's a better term? Bent over is probably more accurate.

for the Irish, is that several of those lowly ACC schools embarrass them on the football field this year. Then, their "argument" about not joining the ACC in football because of lack of good competition is blown All to Heyall. The ACC teams have already had several chances to do this, but as of yet have not stepped up. This now being officially the strangest year on record, before it even starts, now would be the time.

I like the schedule. It gives Clemson a better strength of schedule and makes the ACC more respected when it comes to playoff time. The Akrons and Citadels are nice for the little schools programs but take away from our SOS.
