So sending a psychologist out on police calls

Sep 29, 2020, 10:14 PM

Would have actually worked? “Oh well I see you have a physiological disorder, you are free to go!” Never mind you just tried to kill your baby mama or passed out drunk behind a deadly weapon in a Wendy’s fast dues queue.

Police have an important role. But when somebody’s having a mental breakdown, then someone with the right training should take the lead.

Let me know when you have an intruder in the middle of the night with physiological issues breaking into your house. I’m sure he just wants to talk to you about his issues at 3 am.
Also, let me know when you find a physiologist who will go on call and put themselves in harms way for less than 200/ hr. Why would they do that when they can stay in a nice safe office, counseling children when they don’t even have any themselves.
