demand that they should be in the playoff with a double digit loss. And if they lose in the SECCG, everyone will have to listen to why they deserve a spot with two losses. Nobody else should get a shot at Bama in the playoff because Georgia hasn't had their third chance at them yet. Whether we are in contention or not, get ready to hear that from Georgia.

As for MAc Jones, he is playing well. But no way if he and Lawrence have similar season, should Jones win trophy over a TL who has started for Clemson and guided the team to two national titl appearances and won one of them.

The true reason that TL16 will not win the Lack luster trophy is because -

Do you understand the issue is not Georgia’s pissing and moaning? The real issue is a 4 team playoff. Most years there is a clear #1 and they would defend the ranking against one team. Sometimes there are two legitimate top teams. When you have to pick 4 teams you end up with at least one, if not two, undeserving teams. And there are any number of idiots out there who think the solution is to expand to 8 teams. At that point you will have three-loss teams in the playoffs and one of them will get hot one year and win and the next thing you know it will be a 32 team playoff. Congratulations!! You are the first truly mediocre football team to ever win a Natty!! Money ruins everything.

You are exactly right. I have argued all along that even with a four team play-off the only critical determination is that the #1 and #2 teams are in the four teams. The point of the championship play-off is not to find out who are the best 8 teams but who is the best team. As long a #1 and #2 are in it who cares who else makes it in.

And we would've been the third wheel watching LSU - Ohio State in the BCS title game. Thank goodness we have a 4 team playoff now.
