I would love to have those shoes. Those are cool. I will still buy Nike, but they dont care about people like me and you. We dont buy enough. We also dont set trends.

They've never produced a shoe which fits my foot.
Anyway, Nike isn't letting the tail wag the dog. They are fully aware that when sales drop they can pull a political stunt like this and pay Kapernick to complain so they can signal the company virtue by 'letting him change their minds.'
Stop falling for the sales pitch. Nike cares about one color and that's green. Sales will zoom from this advertising campaign.

Their sales have increased since aligning themselves with Kaepernick a ways back. They know that. Its all about the green like you stated. He doesnt hurt them.
