So my Chacos finally broke

they were old, the ones without a back strap from around 2004-2005. I am thinking of getting another pair and I need you, the Jounge, to tell me whether or not that is hyper gay, kinda gay, or totally OK.
Also, mine had the toe loop and I am exploring getting the z/1 without the toe loop. Any Chaco fans out there care to tell me which is better?
