Actually, they were smart enough to not elect another Bush clone! Think about how much a trillion is and multiply it by 20! No country can even pay the interest on that kind of money therefore no one (or party) is going to right this ship quickly. Bankruptcy is not out of the question. Neither party wants to be in office when that happens. The two party system has failed.

LOL Obama is a bush clone guy....
He's actually a worse Bush clone.
Name one thing that Obama has done any different....both have the same foreign policy, same spending philosophy, both support taking our liberties, welfare....the list goes on....
This country has been full of dumb voters for a very long time....
