So before the old west endzone stands in the 60's

wouldnt vistors have come down the hill as the way in to the stadium. This would have been before the rock was ever at the top of the hill. This predates me as a CU fan so I'm asking but it seems logical

No they came from the other side of the end zone stands. Their locker room as well as Clemson's was under the end zone stands. There was always an end zone stands.

This is the way I remember it

Clemson dressed in Fike Fieldhouse and walked to the stadium, warmed up on the field then went into the dressing rooms at the west endzone. But I don't remember any stands in the endzone in the late 50's.

if I remember right there was a block building in the west endzone that the visiting team changed in before the game.

Here is a picture of the stadium in 1942

Came down the hill.

The visitors dressed in the small building in the west end of the field.

At halftime, The Tigers gathered in half of that same building rather than go all the way back up to The Field House (Fike)..

The old West End Zone stands with dressing rooms underneath were first used in 1959.

Even in 1958 not really a whole dang lot had changed from 1942

which makes today's massive stadium size unbelievable to fans like me that came up seeing the growth process from 1958 to 2018!
