So Seattle has a Socialist on their city council?

As you might imagine, I find her comments repugnant in general. But specifically the part where she says:

“Though we await confirmation of the details of the killing, there are indications that this may have been a right-wing attack.”

Obviously she would be in a better position than me to know what’s going on, but I can’t find a single report of anyone suggesting this, or indeed suggesting anything about the killer. But she says it so flippantly and then goes on to talk as if “now that that’s established”. That is remarkably intentionally divisive, even for these days.

MOst developed nations have a socialist/ labor/ reform party. It is only in the US that we try to lump everyone into Republican and Dermocrat. Anyway, expect more of a move towards socialism in this country, especially as younger voters become more active and Boomers check out. After 40 years of corruption and looting this country dry, it should come as not shock the that the Gen y'ers would prefer a different system that would benefit them at the expense of wealthy boomers. I hav e seen a lot of resentment from this younger generation, it should be obvious with the protests and rioting.
