If you buy a house, normally a bank pays for it, then you pay the bank. I don't think anyone actually believes we would get a check written to us from Mexico. The payment will come from us cutting off money to Mexico. Just the amount of aid we give them would pay for the wall in a reasonable amount of time. Mexico has ZERO negotiating power against the United States.

My bank sort of insisted I sign a bunch of stuff committing to pay them back for my house. Let me know when the Mexican govt does the same for this wall....

Ok, they're not literally gonna pay for it. They're gonna reimburse us for it. Well, they're not literally gonna reimburse us for it. We're gonna cut off aid.

The US will provide $135 million in aid to Mexico in 2017. Estimated cost of the wall is $15 billion, so we'll have to cut off aid for over 100 years to be fully reimbursed. Awesome plan!!
