Help with info on Sling, etc.

I want to start using these things but want to know if anyone has experience in using them at a tailgate? Is an internet signal available?
Is one stuck with regular satellite/DirecTV, etc. in a tailgate setting?

Sling's weird, almost depends on the device ur using to play

the app. Their development team is hit and miss so the experience you'd have on an XB1 (worst by far) differs greatly fro an Apple TV (by far the best), but it's only bc Apple told Sling they'd have to redevelop their #### app b4 getting into the App Store, and they did it.

They are essentially wireless devices that turn your dumb tv smart.

Fyy.. I assume you have unlimited data if you are trying to use sling.

If so.. bunk sling. Buy a hdmi cord that connects your phone directly to your tv.

If you are trying to pick up a free wireless single from clemson. ..dont. you gotta be LOS to a building that has a good signal.

No games to watch so nothing lost.
Try it watching gameday. If it works, you are set.

If not, rethink.

I have tmobile and have been able to stream games. My prob is getting a good signal. If I find the right spot around my car, I'm ok.

Everybody gobbles up verizon network with their iphones. Ain't but 4 tmobile people in the upstate.
