Not a Trump supporter, but Biden voters GITT and tell

Nov 2, 2020, 3:17 PM

me why Biden's cognitive difficulties aren't concerning ? Seriously he's propped up with meds and handlers. He obviously won't be making any major decisions in his presidency

I'm voting Jorgensen, BTW.

Trump and Biden may be equal there....their staffs are not. Just getting rid of Stephen Miller alone is worth a Biden vote.

Because he will surround himself with competent people and he is a 1 term POTUS who is still an upgrade on Trump.

They are concerning. It's not as bad as people say/think,

but gun to my head about whether he'd finish a full term, I don't know which way I'd go. But, none of that matters. He's a means to an end.

The DNC will 25th amendment him by mid 2nd year

Nov 2, 2020, 3:22 PM

Kamala will be our new president, and another guy the democratic congress picks that no one else wants will be our new VP.

I would think that is the real reason Kamala is the VP candidate.

I don't believe the narrative that Biden has cognitive

I honestly don't think it's that bad right now...

Nov 2, 2020, 3:32 PM

But I think evidence is there that he has declined in sharpness. I mean, he'd be the oldest man ever elected, so it's understandable. If he were President, I would make it a matter of prayer that God would allow him to have a clear mind throughout his term.

Biden voter here, not a Biden supporter. But yes, I agree

Nov 2, 2020, 3:39 PM

he is cognitively going downhill. However, I also don’t think Trump is mentally competent enough to be president. So when given the choice between one person who is mentally unfit for office, but is also an a$$hole who is a terrible leader determined to divide our nation, and another mentally unfit person who will probably just sit in a corner while other competent people run the country, I will take the latter.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

no, voting against trump and his "best" people

Nov 2, 2020, 4:39 PM [ in reply to So you're voting for Kamala, Nancy and Chuck Shumer? ]

The fact that he has installed three "originalist" SCOTUS members actually makes this an easier decision for me (though I'm not not exactly a huge fan of "orginalism"). If the Biden administration and House...and possibly a blue Senate overstep their boundaries --- SCOTUS is there to knock things down.

I do enjoy checks/balance... and gridlock. Slow and steady change is the way this old school GOP globalist likes things.

Nov 2, 2020, 4:06 PM

but are you asking if we're worried about his decision making? You serious, Clark? His WH will be filled with competent people, not yes men.

He's already shown better judgement and competence during the debates.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

C'mon man.

Nov 2, 2020, 4:09 PM

Let's talk about what we're going to talk about.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

If you say Biden has cognitive difficulties, then...

Nov 2, 2020, 4:21 PM

you have to say he's always had them.

The man confuses his words a lot. He always has. I don't know if it's a function of his stuttering issues where he has to speak on auto-pilot sometimes or what.

For me, I don't think he has cognitive issues of consequence.

I'm voting for him because I believe him to be a decent guy who will put the country ahead of himself. All of this non-sense about the 25th amendment, etc...is being pushed by the Trump campaign. They're trying in all desperation to make this a choice election and not a referendum on the Trump 1st term. I don't think they're been successful, but we're about to find out.

I will feel better about my voting for him if the GOP can keep the Senate, which isn't looking great right now.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

You're voting for Biden?

Nov 2, 2020, 4:45 PM

Interesting.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I said a while ago that felt his VP was super critical for

Nov 2, 2020, 4:23 PM

this reason. I think this stutter perhaps makes things appear worse than they are, but I do worry that he won't make it 4 years. I just feel better about the people around him and their decisions (as it affect my life) as compared to Trump's administration.

The damage is somewhat done though..the impact on SCOTUS and the judicial system could lead to some interesting decisions/reversals in the future.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Nov 2, 2020, 9:27 PM

than that nothing directly.

Your use of the phrase "just worry" implies that you don't believe my concerns/fears aren warranted; Therefore, I feel that it's probably pointless to explain to you how my life has been affected.

And no, I don't like the guy. Never have.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

"It's Baltimore, Gentlemen; the Gods will not save you."

I'm not saying he didn't negatively affect your life.

Nov 2, 2020, 10:43 PM

I really wanted to know how.

IMO, worrying about something that never happens is sort of like paying a debt that never comes due. Its a waste.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I'm glad that works for you, and I try not to worry about

Nov 3, 2020, 4:15 PM

things as best I can. But I can't say that something will never happen. I never would have thought a global pandemic would happen an d the leader of our country would deny science and trash talk doctors, but it has. I mean, I genuinely don't feel that Trump acts in the country's best interest. Only in his own. So I feel that my 'worry' has been validated in some ways. I have no idea what could happen next.

Also, in general, when a person is slow to denounce hate groups because he doesn't want to lose their vote...I don't think I want that person leading my country. Nor do I want the people he surrounds himself with in any positions of power.

Re: Not a Trump supporter, but Biden voters GITT and tell

Nov 2, 2020, 4:43 PM

This election isn't really about Trump and Biden. It's about how you want the U.S. to go ... to remain a capitalist nation with some safeguards ... OR ... state run socialism. If the Dems take the WH, the Senate and the House, you won't recognize this country in 3-4 years. It will be a shame! A Biden win will surely generate a lot of "Voters' remorse!" Trump ain't perfect, but he also ain't a Marxist!
