Since Seth beer hit 4 homers in flur games

He has ZERO rbi in the last 8 games now. Before that, he had zero rbi in the 8 games prior. That’s unacceptable for someone who’s supposed to be such a superstar. It’s crazy how inconsistent he is. He’s always going to be that way until he learns how to use the opposite field. Pitchers have adjusted and he hasn’t.

He doesn’t exactly get a hitter selection of pitches

Also RBIs require someone on base when you’re up.

He does seem off though

He gets plenty to hit. That’s the biggest myth out there. He’s had a lot of chances with men on the last 8 games, and nothing.

He strikes out reaching a lot; not sure how my eyes see myths however it sounds cool though.

Most of his stats are down this year with the exception of HRs. They are not down by much tho but you are right. We need him to be better as well as every other hitter on the team. He is our leader though and it starts with him.

fact of the matter is none of the guys we thought were going to carry the team have had good years. hopefully at some point they will chime in. bottom of the lineup aint playing badly.

It’s difficult to win when the team batting average is only 245 and no player is hitting 300.
Beer’s average leads the team at 288 going into tonight’s game.

Yes you are correct and that 245 is skewed in our favor. It’s really not that good with regular starters.

As I type we get another one looking. Our strikeout rank is now 182. It’s not tracked on d1 the ratio of looking vs swinging but if it was we’d be over 200 rank or last in p5 conferences.

batting .288 wouldn't be such a big deal if it wasn't all dependent on him... Its like even the rest of the team is waiting on him to do something/save the day. They need to freaking take ownership and be the best player on the team instead of leaving it all for SEth to do.

We have the skill to get hot and make a run but we need to pick it up soon if we want to host a regional.
