Simple Fix to Clemson Basketball

Play better in the 2nd half of each game. Examples:
For the year, Clemson slightly outscored opponents 62.7 versus 62.2 - First Half Average: 29.8 vs 26.1 - Second Half Average: 32.2 vs 35.7 (not counting OT) - Good news is we're undefeated in overtime
Of the 16 games we won this year: - First Half: We outscored opponents in 14 of 16 games (14-2 1H record during wins) - Second Half: We outscored opponents in only 8 of 16 games (8-6-2 2H record during wins) - Key Takeaway ... we only WON 2 games when trailing at halftime (LSU, Wake)
Of the 15 games we lost this year: - First Half: We outscored opponents in 7 of 15 games (7-7-1 1H record during losses) - Second Half: We outscored opponents in only 2 of 15 games (2-13 2H record during losses) - Key Takeaway ... we LOST 8 games when leading or tied at halftime (Winthrop, Weber, Rutgers, USCe, Louisville, Miami, Notre Dame, NC State)
If games ended at halftime, Clemson would have finished with a 21-9-1 record. Conversely, if only the 2nd Half mattered, Clemson would have finished with a 10-19-2 record.

Probably a playable depth issue.
We could try letting the beatings continue till morale improves.

Removal of Swofford.

UNC held to fair play; new bball powers to ACC bringing fairness to this officiating chit=fix to basketball for us and the ACC. Otherwise hope is futile- ask Barnes and OP. Pretty sure we know this answer.

The ACC would greatly improve, if we would get out of the basketball first mentality from Swofford.

No simple fix, but it can be done by having a place that

young athletes from all over would be attracted to and where they would enjoy spending 4 years (we have that); and specifically by having a basketball program that talented high school basketball players believe can win BIG and get them plenty of exposure (we don't have this yet, but are working on it). This means top-notch facilities (may be on the way) and a coach that recruits believe in for one reason or another (maybe, maybe not).
