In a Walmart parking lot this afternoon I saw an old bus with hand- written comments all over it like we used to see back in the “flower power” days. Close by, there was a reasonably attractive female wearing bib overalls swaying to a rhythm I assumed was coming from hidden earbuds. She was holding up the typical cardboard sign with a not- so-typical message- BEER/SMOKES. All she got from me was a big smile and a thumbs up...... but I would have emptied my wallet for her honesty if I hadn’t been in a hurry to get into the deer woods.

OK, was she buying, or selling? It's funny how some things, obvious to us all at a certain point in time, will skip a generation and become such a mystery at a later age. As my girl friend would say as I left her house before driving up the road, "watch out for the deer, Dear"! I considered it an affectionate warning, haha!
