Sigh...ESPN...

Nov 25, 2015, 9:25 AM

http://espn.go.com/ncf/story/_/id/14216949/college-football-playoff-oklahoma-sooners-iowa-hawkeyes-jump-top-four-clemson-tigers-alabama-crimson-tide

"The ACC has back-to-back entries with Florida State moving up one spot to No. 13 and North Carolina climbing three notches to No. 14. The Tar Heels, winners of 10 straight, can make a huge statement in two weeks if they can knock off top-ranked Clemson at home in Chapel Hill."

I don't blame them. There are like FOUR conference championship games in Big 5 football. They can't be expected to follow all of it. This stuff is hard.

To be somewhat fair, BoA stadium is right nearby

Nov 25, 2015, 9:27 AM

But it is most definitely not Chapel Hill

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Clemson

Actually it is 140 miles away so no, it isnt nearby..

Nov 25, 2015, 9:30 AM

Unless of course you think Clemson is nearby Atlanta!

Too many talking heads nowadays on TV and most dont know a football from a tomato

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Charlotte is almost exactly the same distance from Clemson

Nov 25, 2015, 9:33 AM [ in reply to To be somewhat fair, BoA stadium is right nearby ]

as it is from CH.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Where did you learn geography?

Nov 25, 2015, 10:05 AM

140 miles compared to 280 - different sides of the state of NC. I hope someone is driving you to Charlotte.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Actually he is correct

Nov 25, 2015, 10:10 AM

Charlotte is almost the exact same distance from Clemson (140 mi) as it (Charlotte) is from Chapel Hole (140 mi.)

Umm maybe it's you that needs to learn geography?

Nov 25, 2015, 10:44 AM [ in reply to Where did you learn geography? ]

Clemson --> Bank of America Stadium 135 mi
UNC ------> Bank of America Stadium 141 mi

Apologies...

Nov 25, 2015, 2:01 PM

I thought the original poster was saying that from Clemson to UNC was the same distance as CLT to Clemson. No worries..happy Thanksgiving.

Re: Apologies...

Nov 25, 2015, 2:15 PM

Hope the camera crew and announcers show up in Charlotte instead of Chapel Hill.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

There will be more orange in BofA than Blue.

Nov 25, 2015, 9:53 AM [ in reply to To be somewhat fair, BoA stadium is right nearby ]

You can tweet that!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Bro, BoA stadium is almost equidistant to Clemson and CH.

Nov 25, 2015, 10:39 AM [ in reply to To be somewhat fair, BoA stadium is right nearby ]

Charlotte and Chapel Hill aren't close. BoA is closer to Columbia and Greenville than CH.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

And I thought that the walk from lot C-1 to our stadium was

Nov 25, 2015, 11:00 AM

a long hike.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Thanks for the geography lessons everyone

Nov 25, 2015, 11:03 AM [ in reply to To be somewhat fair, BoA stadium is right nearby ]

Next time I'll check

And the TD was a nice touch

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Clemson

Actually, Swofford is moving the game

Nov 25, 2015, 9:30 AM

since it wasn't fair that Charlotte is in Clemson's back yard and Clemson had an unfair advantage buying tickets. Clemson will be allotted 5,000 end zone seats in Chapel Hill since there is basketball practice the same day and the goats will not be able to sell more than 5,000 tickets.

Re: Sigh...ESPN...

Nov 25, 2015, 9:55 AM

Joey Galloway stated this morning on ESPN that he could see UNCheaters beating Clemson, but Bama simply won't lose to Auburn or Florida.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I'd say that's fair. The question is, can he admit that

Nov 25, 2015, 10:29 AM

UNC, the way they are playing now, would almost certainly beat Florida, and certainly beat Auburn.

Then...I wonder how he thinks UNC would do against Bama.

Somebody showed him a map and he changed it to Charlotte.***
