Sammy was a first-rounder and Buffalo could not stand the negative publicity of letting him go for "a fringe player or late round pick' and admitting another first round failure. Panthers would have to come up with at least a third round pick, or a quality player and a sixth rounder before Buffalo would agree.

Would agree. Him and Benjamin would be a deadly combo. Only issue, Carolina doesn't have a great qb. Not knocking cam, great football player. But not a great QB if that makes sense. He's like Brett Favre minus the rings and butt slaps. Doesn't have a touch ball. Only throws it 1000mph.
