As you all saw I got a little female golden back in November. She is now about 8 months old and I want to think she is so great bc I am a great dog trainer (I didn’t pay for training like A912).
She does not use a kennel anymore, stays inside house during day and doesn’t chew up anything of importance or shiat in the house. Goes outside w no leash and always comes back when called, doesn’t leave the cul de sac. Loves all other dogs and people.
I have had several dogs before her that were nightmares at 8 months old, this is my first golden and I think I’ll stick w the breed now. Easy to train.

I'll take pretty much any retriever over any other breed. They really are the best mix of temperament, smarts and social skills.

Our girl is 9 months old and only 45 lbs and the vet says that is OK, but we are a little concerned. We have never had BIG Goldens, but the boys are both 65-70 lbs. Figure Belle will get to about 50 lbs. We will breed her next year if you are in the market for another one.

Small pup for sure. I don’t think she is gonna get much bigger. Females on the smaller side are around 50 pounds.

the boy dogs went NUTS. And then that little whoredog started pushing her tail to the side and backing up to them. Dogs wouldn't sleep, had to wear a diaper for a couple weeks, it was crazy. I've never dealt with that before.
