Covid is in the Clubhouse in Mt. Pleasant.

I understand that one of the local golf courses has had a restaurant worker test positive for Covid in the last few days.
The number of new daily cases in SC has tripled in the last 10 days.

Meh, we're doing pretty well compared to our neighbors

NC and GA have populations each right at double what we have in SC. We have slightly less than half the cases NC has and a good bit less than half the cases GA has. We're playing catchup. When we have 23-25K cases we will be on par with our neighbors.

When would you estimate SC will reach 23,000 cases? 10 days?

2 weeks?
Given what I have seen in my travels around the area, people, including tourists who are streaming into the area, have decided that the virus is gone. It looks like it takes anywhere from 13 to 18 days for symptoms to become apparent after exposure.

You are correct. I live in NC and everyone's freaking out. They're looking at hospitalizations now rather than new cases. And they keep going up. I'm 65 and I think it sux. I'm writing a harshly worded letter to somebody!

this is your typical younger, barhopping crowd, pretty much the same demographic as the folks preparing and serving your food. They are not going to stop the party and the bars and restaurants are here to accommodate them.
This was bound to happen, and these young people need to quit swapping spit with strangers, lol.

Talked to a younger guy the other day

Probably in his mid 20's. He still parties, goes to bars, etc. Never wears a mask because he knows he will never get laid. So there you have it. Can't say I blame him.

I wear a mask at most places, but not at the bar. Nobody does at my local bar.

It’s been in my grocery store and actually killed a worker way back in early March.
Yawn at it “being” anywhere. Cause bro, it’s everywhere.

Yep. I have played them all other than Bull's Bay. Which one has Covid in the restaurant? Not that it really matters, but just wondering for a novelty.
