I know it's probably happened, but I've been to over 80 Clemson home games in my life. I've sat on the Hill, both upper decks, the West Zone, and both lower decks. And I've never, and I do mean NE-VER, seen Clemson fans act this way. It's classless and should embarrass myself everyone associated with the school.

I saw two water bottles thrown at Cain too. ESPN did a good job of cutting off replays just before the bottles were thrown in #8s direction.

State. I find it so ironic when you hear them calling us hicks, etc. and try to make fun of our educational standards. Hell I can't tell you how many people I know, including many legacy students, that had to settle on going to USuC because they couldn't get into Clemson. They are the most embarrassing, delusional, uneducated fan base I've ever seen. And I agree with the OP in that I never see that kind of behavior from Clemson fans. I'm sure it happens, but on a MUCH smaller scale.

than SCar. I researched this when I was in grad school there, but did not check pre 1980s.
I agree with your observation. My best adulthood friend could not get into CU but was accepted to SCar. I know of many others in the same situation but have NEVER heard of a CU student or grad who applied to both and was accepted here yet denied at SCar.
Enough said.

I for one have done far worse at a game in Death Valley against the coots... not my proudest moment in retrospect but not really any remorse either. Mine was verbal though, and not caught on camera...

opposing teams fans.They seem pretty proud of their shltty environment. My BIL and my wife's cousin are both USC grads (and genuinely good folks) and they won't even go to their own home games because of it.
Clemson its the exact opposite--I guess it happens, but I've never heard anyone say they got hassled at a Clemson game.

They were rude and crude. I didn't want my son to be exposed to such language and lack of class. But we sat through it. I tried to make that a teachable moment.
That was Lou's last year at USuC, and it was apparent that neither the coot fans nor players were happy. I think that explains the brawl. They were mad and looking for a fight.
