On his radio show Monday, Sean Hannity got through to an ObamaCare operator named Erling Davis. For about ten minutes, while knowing she was on the radio, the friendly and honest Erling answered all of Hannity's questions -- none of which made ObamaCare look very good. Apparently, as a result of the negative publicity, Erling was fired. Thursday, Hannity had Erling on again and let her know he would give her $26,000, a year's salary.
You can (and should) listen to the segment here. Erling tells the story of how she was fired due to Hannity's call.
Hannity also told Erling he would help her find a job, which shouldn't be hard. Erling, a mother of two, is obviously a polite, composed, and patient woman who wants to work.
Hannity said he would "gift" the money to her so that there would be no taxes.

Hannity gives somebody 26 Grand in a handout because they got fired from a job=GOOD
Wouldn't it be more intellectually honest of Hannity to give the person a JOB instead of cash?

Hanity is VOLUNTARILY giving up his OWN money.
Obama wants to force you to hand over your money.
BIG difference.
Conservatives don't hate the poor or helping those in need. In fact conservatives donate in much larger sums than liberals. What conservatives do hate is forcing someone to do anything they don't want to.

if we could just eliminate minimum wage and welfare at the same time, I would have a much easier time finding someone to clean out my garage for 3$ an hour.
their family eats that night, I have a clean garage.= Win Win.

hours or days for yard work or cleaning out your garage. It's a private negotiated transaction, the way ALL jobs should be handled. It has been proven repeatedly that raising the minimum wage results in lost jobs & benefits.
When will you libtards stop being intellectually dishonest about minimum wage?
It was never intended to be a living wage, but a minimal hourly wage for entry level jobs. The adults earning minimum wage in the fast food industry got themselves in that position via laziness, stupidity, and poor choices. It's not the government's role, nor taxpayer's responsibility to support and subsidize stupid & lazy people.
Same with Social Security. It was never intended to be enough to live on like a salary. It was to be a supplement. People pay in by force, which is BS. The least the government should do is allow my money be in a private account in my name that I have some minimal control over.
