You were probably one of the ones calling for Cat Man's head when he first started. He couldn't kick it in the ocean from the beach and turned out to be one of the best ever.

now. My post was more in response to the way I felt after that game and the way I feel now. We had so many chances to win, but didn't. I certainly don't blame the loss on Lakip alone. However, I was more disturbed by shots of him on the sideline after his last miss than the actual miss. You could tell it was seriously in his head, so I hope he recovers from it. In terms of this year alone, I have serious concerns that special teams may cost us another win and no FB post from Catman will make me feel better about it.

Catman was not a junior at that point. I'm sorry, but if Lakip can't figure out how to kick a 23 yarder then we at least need to invest in the future and get Spence out there. That's a chip shot.

If Lakip turns out as good as CatMan we should be in good shape. So far this season Lakip has missed 3 critical FG. Hoping he turns it around.

Sorry to say this...
and I am surprised no one on the staff sees it, but its
no wonder Lakip is struggling- His FORM IS TERRIBLE.
Wrong approach, steps and follow through.
He needs at least several months of getting this
corrected, I would say.

I was a place kicker and understand some issues with pressure but Lakip is not what we need right now. Bring on the Freshman.
