Jounge summer concert suggestions

Mar 20, 2019, 1:54 PM

I have found a couple concerts I want to see this year. JJ Grey/Mofro in June at Pisgah Brewing, and the Steeldrivers in Greenville in September. Wu Tang is still a possibility, but it depends on which members will be there. Anyone have suggestions for more good live shows?

Or wait to go see him in Ireland in July or Norway later in the summer.

I'll be at Phish and Dead in Charlotte and Dead the following night in Atl.

There's trondossa in North Charleston next month.

Marcus King
Widespread Panic
Umphrey's Mcgee
Wood Brothers

should be a good one.

Gin Blossoms and Collective Soul are coming to S'ville in May. I love nostalgia, but I just can't get excited about mediocre songs that I happen to know.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

again? I saw Collective Soul / Three Doors Down, and

Mar 20, 2019, 2:28 PM

'heard' Soul Asylum walking in / getting 1st round of dranks. THEY were who I was most interested in seeing. Gin Blossoms could be cool, and another 90's band to check off the list

the whole thing was a solid 'just-ok'. Only went because of the group of people that wanted to go, which WAS fun...

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Now I would enjoy a Soul Assylum concert,

Mar 20, 2019, 2:32 PM

but Collective Soul is a pretty good band with a terrible lead singer.

Weezer is the 90s band I would most like to check off the list.

I just realized 2 weeks ago that I'd seen Weezer in late 90s

it'd prob be the same gaggle of hot women as last time.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It might convince me.

Mar 20, 2019, 3:37 PM

I'd just make up some shit to get her to go.

I went to that too
