Beating a preseason #1 team convincingly?? Yes, it gains us a lot of respect. Great way to end this season and look forward to 2015.

Especially since we are blowing them out! Perception and the eye test goes a long way. If we won a snoozer and it was a close game it would definitely still be a sucess, but blowing a team out that was perceived as a national championship caliber team is HUGE!! Back to back to back to back 10 win season and hella momentum leading into next year!! Huge! Huge! Huge!!

a) if we go on to win big in a year or so or
b) as time goes by.

In the case of a... if we win the national title or something like that soon, we'll look back and say 'we could see this coming as we beat LSU, OSU, Oklahoma in bowl games'
In the case of b we'll look back in 20 years and say 'We beat national powers like LSU, OSU and Oklahoma in consecutive years!' Nevermind that Oklahoma ain't exactly great shakes this year. Still a name win and nothing to sneeze at.
