Serious question for knowledgeable individuals.....

We all know TOSU's defense is questionable at best. My inquiry:
Have the buckeyes played any team this season with speed at the WR's comparable to Clemson???
I ask, because if they haven't, and indeed two of their best defensive starters won't be playing, it could be a career night for our offense---similar to what we experienced a couple of years ago in this same stadium.

is practicing every day. Our defense played more than well enough to have won the usuck game. 6 or 7 turnovers will guarantee a loss by anyone

I would bet the keys for us are our OL giving Tajh enough time to execute the offense and with our Defense stopping a great scrambling/running QB. We haven't done very well with usuc's qb, and I don't think Shaw is in the same league with OSU's guy.

I dont really think so. My daughter is a Buckeye and so I keep up generally with how they are playing. I would think as a tandem our wr's are better than most they have faced. wheter we can take advantage of it is another matter.

Serious answer: will our o line hold up long enough

for wr speed to matter?
Can we stop a scrambling qb on critical downs?
Will Morris abandon the run if it is working?

I have seen them play a few times. Nobody on their schedule has the speed Clemson has. They won't beat you by covering your receivers. If they win it will be through the pass rush and running the ball to keep it away from Tajh and company.

sack and hurry totals are way above average
Recent history has proven that Boyd panics under that type of pressure. Keeps looking for long ball and comfortable, familiar receivers, instead of taking short passes that are open Especially when our receivers look at the oncoming pass as something they have never seen before and get the dropsies.
Pressure on boyd will seal this game for the "acorns" er, I meant buckeyes.
For us to win Boyd will have to complete a lot of short passes and dumps --- around, over and under the linebackers. Then the receivers have to hold on to the ball
Our poor offensive line play will not give Boyd time to make many long throws and I do not think the "O" line can open up any holes for the running game.
